Susan Gould 1821-1905

Susan Gould was the elder daughter of Richard Gould 1792-1868 of Hope Hall, Eccles in Lancashire and his wife nee Susan Bateman 1795-1828.

She was baptised on 10 May 1821 in St Stephen's church, Salford.

On 9 November 1842 she was married at Eccles to the Reverend Henry Milne 1815-1880 MA. He was the Rector of Holme Hale near Thetford in Norfolk from 1844 to 1880.

They had the following children:

The Reverend Richard Henry Milne 1844-1889.
William Oswald Milne 1847-1927.
Frances Alice Milne 1848-1913.
Eliza Catherine Milne 1851-1938.
Harriett Ellen Milne 1853-1930.
Charles Milne. He was born in 1857.
Susan Caroline Milne 1859-1939.
Sarah C. Milne. She was born in 1860.

After her husband died, she moved with her daughters Frances, Eliza and Harriet Milne to Penlee, 9 Victoria Road, Worthing in Sussex.

Susan Milne nee Gould died on 27 October 1905, and was buried at Holme Hale, Norfolk.
