She died on 13 August 1947 in Naracoorte, South Australia. She was buried on 15 August 1947 in Lucindale, South Australia (1).

On on 8 July 1902 she was married to Patrick James Burke 1866-1949 in St Thomas Church, Naracoorte. He was born in 1866, the son of Michael Burke. He died on 18 May 1949 in Naracoorte, and was buried on 20 May 1949 in Lucindale (2).

Patrick and Mary Burke had a daughter:

Mary Grace Burke 1904-1971. She was born on 19 February 1904 in Lucindale. She died on 27 September 1971 in Lucindale, and was buried there on 29 September 1971 (3). She married William Henry Copping, son of Thomas Emanuel Copping, on 17 March 1937 in the Roman Catholic Presbytery at Hectorville, South Australia.

(1) The report in the Narracoorte Herald dated 14 August 1947reads: "Death - Bourke - On August 13 at the Naracoorte Hospital, Mary Grace Bourke, dearly beloved wife of Patrick James Bourke and loving mother of Grace. Age 72. RIP".

(2) The report in the Naracoorte Herald dated 19 May 1949 reads:"Death - Burke - at the Naracoorte Hostipal on May 18, Patrick James Burke of Lucindale, husband of the late Mary Grace Burke and loved father of Mary Grace Copping. Age 83."

(3) The report in the Advertiser reads: "Copping - Mary Grace - Of Lucindale. On Sptember 27, at the
Naracoorte Hospital, the dearly loved wife of William Henry. Aged 67 years."
