Joseph Goodwin died 1690

Joseph Goodwin died on 20 October 1690, and was buried at Chelmorton in Derbyshire. An Inventory of his personal estate was taken, and he appears not to have left a Will.

He married Margaret (maiden surname unknown) in 1670. She died on 11 October 1726, and was also buried at Chelmorton.

They had the following children:

Mary Goodwin. She married Henry Manifold on 4 March 1690 (modern style).

Dorothy Goodwin. She was baptised on 3 April 1672 at Hartington in Derbyshire.

Joseph Goodwin. He was baptised on 13 November 1674 at Hartington.

Margaret Goodwin. She was baptised on 28 September 1676 at Hartington.

Richard Goodwin 1679-1763. He was baptised on 23 January 1679 (modern style), and died on 18 August 1763.

Dorothy Goodwin. She was baptised on 26 March 1681. In 1699 she was married to William Melland of Middleton by Youlgreave, Derbyshire.

Sarah Goodwin 1684-1762. She was baptised on 21 February 1684 (modern style), and died in 1762. She was married to Joseph Gould 1685-1760 of Pilsbury Grange.
