Nat Gould

Harriet Gould 1781-1801

Harriet Gould was the younger daughter of William Gould 1748-1795 and his wife nee Mary Saunders 1750-1829.

She was baptised at St Ann's church in Manchester on 18 May 1781.

She died unmarried in 1801, and was buried at Caverswall in Staffordshire in the family vault alongside her grandfather the Reverend Joseph Saunders who was vicar of the parish.

In the churchyard at Caverswall is a memorial inscription to her memory reading "She was dutiful to her parents, pious and affectionate, her manners were gentle, and her person beautiful".
