In the Name of God Amen I William Gould of Hanson Grange in the County of Derby Yeoman being aged & infirm but of sound & disposing Mind and Memory (praised be God for the same) do Make Publish and Declare this my Last Will & Testament in Manner & form following that is to say, First I will that all my just Debts Funerall Charges and the Charges of proving this my Will be paid and discharged Also I Give and Bequeath to my sons Joseph & George and to my Daughter Hannah wife of Anthony Goodwin One Guinea Apiece I having already paid them their Porcions Also I Give and Bequeath to my Daughter Anne the Sum of Two hundred Pounds and to my Daughter Mary wife of William Wardle Gent. the Sum of Two hundred Pounds both which said Legacyes I will shall be paid within the year next after my decease, Also I Give and Bequeath unto my Son Thomas Gould and my said two Daughters Anne & Mary Wardle All my Household Goods and Furniture to be equally divided amongst them Also I Give & Bequeath to my Son Thomas the Tenantright Term and Interest of all the livings or Farms now in my holding & possession Also I Give and Devise All that my Coppyhold Messuage & Tenement with the Buildings Closes Lands tenements & Hereditaments thereto belonging lying and being in Crowdicoat in the Parish of Hartington and said County of Derby (the same being surrendered to the use of my Will) unto my Grandson Richard Gould eldest Son of my late Son Richard Gould deceased his Heirs & Assigns for ever, Subject nevertheless and Chargeable with the payment of the Sum of Five hundred and Thirty Pounds unto my said Son Thomas within one year next after my decease And all the rest residue & remainder of my Goods Cattle Chattles Effects Money Securityes for Money & Personall Estate whatsoever Subject to the payment of my Debts and the Legacyes hereinbefore by me Given & Bequeathed, I Give & Bequeath unto my said Son Thomas and do Constitute & Appoint him my said Son Thomas Sole Executor of this my last Will & Testament hereby Revoking & declaring void all former & other Will & Wills by me att any time herefor made In Witness Whereof I the said Testator William Gould have made to this my last Will and Testament sett my hand & Seal the Eleventh day of June in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Sixty two.
