Michael Peake was born on 29 September 1709, the son of Samuel Peake 1669-1724 and his wife nee Margaret Eld. He was baptised on 28 October 1709 at Mucklestone in Staffordshire.

He married Sarah Smith on 1 February 1739 at St Mary's church in Stafford.

They had the following children, all baptised at St Mary's church in Stafford:

Samuel Peake. He was born in 1740, and baptised on 15 December 1740. He died on 5 September 1807 aged 66 years, and was buried at Berkswich in Staffordshire.

Sarah Peake. She was born in 1742, and baptised on 1 December 1742.

Margaret Peake. She was born in 1744, and baptised on 20 August 1744.

Ellen Peake. She was born in 1746, and baptised on 12 July 1746.

Michael Peake. He was born in 1748, and baptised on 4 August 1748.

William Peake 1752-1788. He was born in 1752, and baptised on 6 August 1752. He was buried on 11 April 1788.

Their father Michael Peake left a Will dated 20 November 1766. He died in 1770, and his Will was proved on 5 September 1770.
