In the Name of God Amen
I Thomas Gillum of Brunswick Row Queen Square in the County of Middlesex but shortly bound on a Voyage to Madrass in the East Indies as a Cadet in the Service of the Honourable United [[East inserted] India Company being in Perfect Health and of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding but considering the Certainty of Death and the uncertainty of the time thereof Do thereof make and Declare this my Lat Will and Testament in manner following First and principally I commend my soul to God and my Body to the Earth or Sea as he shall please to Order and as for and Concerning such Worldly Estate and Effects which I shall be possessed of or in any ways Intitled to at the time of my Decease I give [devise inserted and bequeath the same in manner following (that is to say) First I will and desire that all my just debts and particularly tat my Mother be repaid whatever money she has laid out on my account (and Funeral Expences (if any) be fully paid and Satisfyed) since My Grand Fathers Death as soon as conveniently may be after my Decease Also I give and bequeath unto Mrs. Mary Gillum Mr. William Gillum Mr. Raphael Gillum Mrs. Lois Miller The Revd. Mr. Thomas Boyce of Beccles in the County of Suffolk and Mr. John Clements of St. Pauls Church Yard London Trunk maker the Sum of Five Guineas each for a Ring all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Estate and Effects both Real and Personal of what nature kind or quality the same may be or consist at the time of my Decease I give Devise and Bequeath unto my Honoured Mother Mary Gillum of Brunswick Row Queen Square aforesaid Widow her heirs and assigns for ever and I do hereby Nominate Constitute and Appoint my said Honoured Mother Mary Gillum Executrix and the said Reverend Mr. Thomas Boyce and Mr. John Clements Executors of the my Will hereby Revoking and making Void all Wills by me at any time or times heretofore made and Do Ordain this to stand and be as and for my Last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal the Tenth Day of January One thousand Seven hundred and Eighty One –

This Will was proved at London the twenty Second Day of April in the year of Our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and two before the Right Honorable Sir William Wynne Knight Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully Constituted by the Oath of Mary Gillum Widow the Mother and the Surviving Executor named in the said Will to whom administration was granted of all and Singular the Goods Chattles and Credits of the said Deceased having been First Sworn by Commision Duly to Administer.
