Elizabeth Buxton 1682-1776

Elizabeth Buxton was born on 8 April 1682 at Carsington in Derbyshire, the daughter of Edmund Buxton and his wife nee Thomasin Roe. She was baptised on 27 April 1682 at Carsington.

On 5 May 1707 she married Richard Goodwin 1679-1763 at Tissington. She died on 5 August 1776, and was buried at Tissington.

They had the following children:

Elizabeth Goodwin 1708-1784. She was baptised on 28 February 1708, and buried on 9 November 1784.

Richard Goodwin 1711-1171. He was baptised on 15 July 1711 at Tissington, and buried there on 26 July 1711.

Margaret Goodwin 1712-1788. She was baptised on 27 August 1712, and died on 8 February 1788.

Thomasin Goodwin 1715-1715. She was baptised on 7 May 1715 at Tissington, and buried there on 20 June 1715.

Joseph Goodwin 1716-1777. He was baptised on 19 August 1716, and died on 5 July 1772.

Edmund Buxton Goodwin 1720-1777. He was baptised on 13 June 1720, and died on 28 December 1777.

Thomas Goodwin 1724-1724. He was baptised on 12 July 1724 at Tissington, and buried there on 29 September 1724.
